President, VA State Conference NAACP, Ms. Carmen Taylor is a native of Akron Ohio who relocated to Virginia after obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Hampton Institute, and later obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in nursing from Hampton University. In 2010 she received a Masters degree in Management with a concentration in Nursing from Troy University. She is also the proud mother of three daughters, Creneace, Jasmine and Alexis.

Ms. Taylor believes, “the struggle for success while serving as the voice for others never ends,” and only because of the NAACP also known as the Oldest, Largest and most effective Civil Rights organization in America, can “Victory be Assured.”
